In most cases, yes. We provide free, hand-drawn design sketches as part of your estimate to help you visualize your space and understand our plan.

Yes. We don’t use subcontractors for any parts of the project. You’ll know who’s working on your property every step of the way.

Absolutely. We’ll walk your yard, ask the right questions, and create a tailored design based on your space, goals, and how you want to use the area.

Hardscape refers to elements like patios, stonework, and retaining walls. Softscape refers to the living elements of the landscaping (like plants, trees, and sod) and the things that support them (like rock, mulch, and irrigation). At RKP, we specialize in designing landscapes that combine both.

We provide a detailed design you can submit to your HOA. While we don’t typically handle the approval process directly, most HOAs have no questions once they see the design. We’re here to answer questions if needed.

Yes, assuming you meet our project minimum, though we frequently do projects that combine multiple elements into one cohesive landscape. Doing both hardscaping and softscaping together improves the end result, is more cost-effective, and ensures better long-term performance.

While there are exceptions, our typical project minimums are:

  • $5,000 for concrete work
  • $7,000 for landscaping projects

These minimums help us deliver the level of quality and attention your project deserves. It’s often easiest (and more efficient) to combine your softscape and hardscape needs into one comprehensive plan. We’re happy to work with you to design a project that fits your space, goals, and budget.

We don’t offer in-house financing, but we’re happy to work with third-party lenders if you choose to secure financing on your own.

Yes. Our work is backed by clear, written warranties:

  • Pavers – 18 months
  • Sod – 90 days
  • Shrubs – 60 days
  • Most other work – 1 year

Design and estimates typically take 1–2 weeks. Once your project is scheduled, we aim to complete most jobs within a month, depending on the size and HOA approvals.

Yes, while most of our work is residential, we also have experience with commercial landscaping projects, including offices, retail spaces, and multifamily properties. We treat commercial projects with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship that we’re known for with residential projects.
